OVERVIEW
RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
The CDC’s Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System (YRBSS) monitors priority health behaviors and experiences among students across the country. The results help in understanding the factors that contribute to the leading causes of illness, death, and disability among youth and young adults. The CDC publishes data for states and school districts that had representative data for the 2019 YRBS. The CDC also highlights statistically significant differences in responses between local areas and the national results.
