OVERVIEW
RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
The Influenza Surveillance Report data describe weekly ILI activity in the state of Nevada. This information is collected by sentinel providers, who voluntarily submit a weekly report to the CDC on the number of patients seen with ILI (influenza like illness) as a total and by age group. The reports also provide information on the number of virus samples tested, the positivity rate, and the virus strains. Additionally, hospitalizations and deaths from ILI are reported for four health districts in the state.
