OVERVIEW
RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
The National Agriculture Imagery Program (NAIP) is a source of agriculturally-focused imagery administered by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) through the Aerial Photography Field Office (APFO). NAIP acquires orthorectified imagery at a resolution of 1-meter ground sample distance (GSD) for the continental United States during the agricultural growing season. Orthorectified images combine the image characteristics of an aerial photograph with the georeferenced qualities of a map.
