RESOURCE DESCRIPTION

MEDBOX is an open-source library containing clinical and public health specific documents (e.g., clinical guidelines, country-specific materials in different languages, essential drug lists, education and training materials, reports and evaluations, statistics and situation reports and maps for disaster affected areas). The aim was to increase the quality of health work and improve patient care, especially in resource limited areas. Users tend to be healthcare professionals, social and community health workers, governmental and non-governmental organizations, and employees of ministries of health. Materials are grouped by 6 main categories: Key resources (this one includes humanitarian aid) Clinical guidelines Women and child health Pharmacy and technologies Public health Countries MEDBOX also contains "toolboxes" for more acute topics (e.g., global health education, mental health, Ebola, natural hazards, conflict, Zika, TB, Cholera, Leprosy, Polio, rapid response, refugees, and specific hazards). You can click on a particular toolbox and all relevant materials for that topic will appear.
