OVERVIEW

RESOURCE DESCRIPTION

As a part of the Household Pulse Survey, the Census Bureau has surveyed whether American families' childcare arrangements were disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. If families report that their child was unable to attend daycare or other childcare arrangements because of the pandemic, the survey then asks how that disruption impacted one or more of the caretaker's jobs, including if the adult supervises the child while working, cut back on hours, or left their job to provide care.
